Rector’s Day on 19th May

In order to make it possible to attend a final farewell to our murdered Colleague Małgosia, The Rector of UW declares Monday, 19th May 2025 a Rector’s Day. In general classes are cancelled on this day, except for 3 courses conducted in the afternoon by the visiting Professors. Details will be sent to the sudents by email.  

The farewell ceremony for Mrs. Małgorzata will take place on 19th May. The funeral Mass will begin at 10.00 a.m. in the church of Divine Providence (PL: kościół pw. Opatrzności Bożej), located at 5 Dickens St. (PL: ul. Dickensa 5) in Warsaw. Further ceremonies at the cemetery will be private and limited to Family members.

In accordance with the Family’s wishes, media representatives are kindly asked not to attend the ceremony.
